My name is Alanna Wormwood, and I am a student at a tiny private college called Clarkson University in Northern New York. Clarkson is located in the village of Potsdam, New York, which is approximately forty miles from Ogdensburg, the home of the rich history you will find on this site. I am currently majoring in psychology and history, with a minor in cognitive neuroscience. As my majors suggest, this project is a reflection of not one, but two of my passions, psychology and history. I anticipate graduating from Clarkson University in the spring of 2015, after which I hope to attend a graduate program and receive a doctorate in the history of psychology. When I am not busy with school work, I enjoy reading, writing poetry, and taking in the breathtaking beauty of the Adirondack Mountains by camping, hiking, star gazing, and kayaking.
